We're excited to share some recent updates and improvements to the Lucid Suite that we think you'll find incredibly helpful. Check out the details below and feel free to share your thoughts and questions in the comments!

Smarter text box sizing

Text box sizing is now more intuitive. Text boxes automatically adjust to fit your text and honor the alignment settings you've chosen. We also give a nice preview to help you decide which font size is right.

Previews of shape on cursors

A new shape preview appears alongside the cursor when adding certain types of shapes to make it clearer how to get started.

Quickly resize frames

Double-click on any corner of a frame to resize it. The frame automatically adjusts to fit its content.

Text line height

We increased the spacing between lines from 1.0 to 1.2 to improve readability of text on the canvas and increase consistency between Lucidchart and Lucidspark.

Shape border styling

The default border thickness has been reduced from 3px to 2px, and the color has changed from charcoal to black to align styles across Lucidspark and Lucidchart. These updates only apply to new documents and newly placed blocks on templates, existing documents and blocks won’t be affected.
